Looking for fellow agile developers proficient in Springsource Tool Suite for Eclipse, ROO, and jquery

I am trying to build a proof of concept SaaS and want to be productive with the plumbing code. It isn't going to be the final UI as that will fall to a real UI designer, but I need to get the basic scaffolding up of sign-on, user database, and a simple data manipulation interface. 

 

Getting started with all the pieces is giving me grief. I want to do this inside Eclipse, leveraging Springsource and ROO, deploying under a Glassfish application server, and using jquery for the UI. Having a programming buddy that is familiar with this stack so that I am setting this up properly would greatly improve my productivity.

If you post an outline of what you want to do, I'd be happy to put my two cents in. Any particular reason for using Springsource Tool Suite or ROO?

We have a deep analytics engine in Java and C++ that we want to connect to a data mashup. The data mashup I am thinking about is to connect to Yahoo and Google news and do semantic analysis to classify if news is left leaning, balanced and fair, right leaning, sensational, erroneous, historical, etc.

Springsource and ROO are selected as VMware investments and aspect oriented programming are perceived as strong technology trends we want to hitch our wagon to.
